Wadworth 6X – Brand repositioning
Wadworth’s 6X is one of the nation’s favourite traditional cask ales, enjoyed by real ale drinkers in pubs across the land. Wadworth turned to S&® for a creative strategy and platform which would give the beer brand a new lease of life in a relaunch campaign.
Research suggested there was an opportunity to capitalise on a growing upswell of desire for higher standards of behaviour and decency across society and S&® recognised the potential, creating the platform ‘6X – The Thoroughly Decent Pint’.
Appearing in national press and highbrow publications, the first four advertising executions feature cartoons by Fran Orford, well-known for his cartoon work featured in the national broadsheets. In-pub POS support has also been produced by S&®, together with a new 6X website.
